Your completed application form will be submitted to the trust administrator, Ms Jenny West, along with any other uploaded documents.
Before submitting your application, please ensure that you read the Trust’s Privacy Policy, a link to which can be found here.
Your request will be considered by the appropriate subcommittee, which for medical projects currently includes two doctors. The subcommittee then makes a recommendation to the next full meeting of the Trustees which take place four times a year. Please note it is their policy to only support applications from charities registered with the charity commission. With the exception of medical research grant applications the Trust will only consider applications that have beneficiaries in Yorkshire. Please note that for Hospice grant applications we will only provide grants for medical equipment.
We regret personal and overseas applications are not acceptable.
Each application will be answered in writing, whether successful or not by the end of the month following the meeting at which the application was considered.
We regret that due to the volume of applications received the Trustees will not provide reasons for the rejection of a grant application. Successful applications will receive a grant which may or may not be subject to conditions.
All applications are dealt with at the discretion of the Trustees who meet quarterly in March, June, September and December.
Deadlines for applications has recently changed to the last Monday of January, April, July and October. If you miss the deadline for one meeting, then your application will be considered at the following meeting.
